BARCELONA BEER FESTIVAL BREWS UP ANOTHER EDITION
The Barcelona Beer Festival is returning for its 9th edition, and La Farga L’Hospitalet Activity Center will be hosting for the 4th straight year!
The Barcelona Beer Festival is the biggest meeting point in southern Europe for craft beer professionals and amateurs. Attendees will be able to enjoy from a selection of 646 different beers from around the world. There will be at least one tap with gluten-free and non-alcoholic beer.
If you’re not a beer expert, the festival will have Beer Informers circulating the venue to answer any questions you might have and to make suggestions to help you enjoy the experience even more. Just look for the people wearing yellow vests!
Not only will you have all of the beer you can handle, but the festival will also have a variety of activities available to enjoy. There will be guided tours, beer-and-food pairings, cooking shows, meetings with brewery masters, sensory experiments, escape rooms and more!

As for food, there will be 5 local restaurants offering their food at the venue. The Big Whim, Chivou’s, Mosquito, Nomad Cafe, and Machete will all have food trucks present to help you pair each beer with good eats.
To amp up the beer-filled event, live music and performaning arts shows can be found throughout the weekend.

HOW TO ARRIVE: FGC (Sant Josep or L’Hospitalet Avinguda Carrilet stops) and L1 Metro (Rambla Just Oliveres stop)
WHEN: Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th from 11:00-23:00; Sunday, March 15th from 11:00-21:00
TICKETS: Day ticket (7€ online, 8€ at event venue); 3-day pass (10€); the Festival glass, guide and 2 tokens are included in the ticket price; purchase tickets here
COST OF BEER: Beers can only be purchased using tokens. You can buy them at one of the authorised stands and they will serve to pay for both food and beer. Each token is worth 1€. Not all beers have the same price; some cost between 2-4 tokens.
