CIUDADES MAGNÍFICAS IS BACK IN BARCELONA FOR ITS 2022 EDITION
Cervezas San Miguel’s “Ciudades Magníficas” makes its return to encourage you to enjoy the beautiful, culture-rich city of Barcelona.
The 2022 “Magnificent Cities” campaign will run during the months of May and June to highlight and show appreciation for the local gastronomy, music, fashion and talent that surrounds the Catalan capital; Barcelona is not alone, though, as Malaga, San Sebastián, Pamplona and Burgos are the other cities participating in the campaign’s first wave, to which the cities of Lérida, Bilbao and Palma de Mallorca will join in for the second phase at the end of the year.
“Magnificent Cities” got a star-studded presentation back on May 5th. The event was presented by Ana Boadas, screenwriter and journalist, and was attended by renowned chefs and restaurateurs Jordi Cruz, Martín Berasategui, Fran López, José Carlos García and Susana Aragón, and the Catalan actor Bruno Oro, all of whom wanted to show their support for the initiative.
Carlos Lafuente Gómez, Mahou San Miguel’s Consumer Marketing Director, said that “with this action, we seek to show our support for local culture and gastronomy and strengthen the commercial and socioeconomic fabric of Barcelona to continue growing together.”
HOW TO ENJOY CIUDADES MAGNÍFICAS IN BARCELONA
More than 40 bars, 30 shops and various spaces in Barcelona are part of the campaign, so there are lots of chances to take part.
In order to participate, you must go to one of the participating bars, shops and magnificent spaces where, by consuming one of the beers from the San Miguel Magna line, you will have the possibility of winning different prizes linked to the establishments collaborating in the campaign.
STEPS FOR WINNING A PRIZE:
- Order a Magna.
- Register your code from Magna bottle or coaster.
- You’ll have to create a login account in order to access the code entry page.
- Find out, instantly, if you’ve won one of the prizes!
From May 2nd to June 30th, at one of the “magnificent establishments,” consumers will be able to enjoy a Magna beer from San Miguel and automatically be entered into a raffle drawing for a 50€ voucher to spend at any of the shops and bars that have joined the initiative. Cervezas San Miguel has grown and expanded the type of prizes for the 2022 edition.
You can also enjoy gastronomic routes and leisure plans such as: the “Secreto a Voces” concert series, plays at Grup Balañá, or the “Monumental Club,” “Sound It,” and “Jazztrónica” festivals. Consumers will be able to enjoy the promotion at various food establishments where they will be eligible for the prizes by making a minimum purchase of €3 of Magna or Magna Tostada 0.0.
“Magnificent Cities” has its own website and will have informative materials in all participating establishments, with the goal being that locals will be able to identify the participating hospitality & food spaces.
